THE PAINTER’s HOUSE” is a magical place in the south on the Canary Island of Tenerife, at 600 meters of altitude, between the Ocean and the Volcano. It is a country-house of the XVIII century, which has been restored with taste and respect for nature. This rural complex has 4 independent houses with their own private space. They are surrounded by magnificent gardens with local plants, cactus, papaya-, mango-, orange-, avocado-trees, vines and biological vegetables. In the main house lives, paints and exposes his work, the artist Carlo Forte. Beaches and the National Parc of Teide are only at 15 minutes. Mountain walks and bathing in the transparent water of the Atlantic Ocean are ways to connect with nature and the beauty of this fabulous island. “The Yellow House” has outside a characteristic “gazebo”, covered with various climbing plants and their white flowers. It is embraced by a garden with palms, papaya- and mango-trees. This cosy house has a double bed, a kitchenette and a bathroom.

“The Patio House” has a kitchen, a bathroom and 2 bedrooms, with 2 beds in each room. On the patio outside are a stone oven and a waterdistilator typical of traditional island life, which serve as evidence of distant times. A pergola with rose bougainvilleas offers its pleasant shade in hot days of summer.

“The Dragon House” is furnished with elegant, antique furniture. It has a romantic fireplace, a double bed, a kitchen and a bathroom. Outside, it is surrounded by a dragon-tree, orchids, abundant local plants, an orchard, and a pergola.

“The Stone House” is a old small building, restored with a typical wooden and tiled roof. It has a double bed and a kitchenette. The bathroom is outside next to the house. An olive-tree, banana-trees, roses and hibiscus decorate around.
